  • Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to our ETF Think Tank family! It is the most wonderful time of year when we celebrate the holidays with family and exchange gifts. And speaking of gift exchanges, let’s do a check in with our 3 major stock exchanges:

    • According to our Security Master, the NYSE contains 75.31% of the US ETF universe assets, approximately 5.38 trillion dollars, which is up 5.39% QTD compared to the Nasdaq at 4.62% and CBOE at 2.54% increase QTD.

Why Follow the ETF Industry KPIs

The team at Toroso Investments began tracking the ETF Industry Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) in the early 2000's and have been consistently reporting on, and analyzing these metrics ever since. The table above was the impetus for the creation of the TETF.Index, the index that tracks the ETF industry. Each week, we will share the statistics we believe to be the most useful for identifying industry trends, in addition to the performance of the TEFT.Index.
