Week of August 31, 2020 KPI Summary
This week, US ETF assets fell for the first time since June 29th, 2020. Change 1 week is -1.66, and total US ETF assets are $4.77 Tn, down from $4.85 Tn last week. ETF expense ratio 12-month revenue also fell; last week at $8.92 Bn, this week at $8.75 Bn. Apart from these declines, the open-to-close ratio climbed back up to 0.98, after it fell to 0.95 last week. The market had 4 launches this week with only 1 closure. Returns for all time periods, most notably 3-month, fell for both the Toroso ETF Industry Index and the S&P Financial Select Sector Index. Despite this, the Toroso ETF Industry Index is still outperforming the S&P Financial Select Sector Index.
